Superb quality late 19th century or early 20th century solid 833 silver large round shaped charger. The central medallion embossed with the Portuguese Royal Coat of Arms – seven castles and five quinces – the dish decorated with repoussé foliage and flowers.

Fully hallmarked “a seated boar in a canted square II” 1886-1938 Oporto Assay Office guarantee for 833 silver together with Portuguese silversmith’s mark.
